Chilean Miner's Mistress Charged

The collective world spirit was uplifted just a bit by the heroic rescue of the 33 Chilean Miners who had been trapped for more than 2 months within the dank bowels of the earth, subsisting on juice and spoonfuls of tuna. Throngs of media personnel, well-wishers and family members greeted each worker with cheers and patriotic anthems as they were hoisted from the darkness. A bit of tension hung in the air however when the 21st mine worker Yonni Barrios stepped from the rescue capsule into the waiting arms of his longtime mistress Susana Valenzuela. His wife of 28 years left the scene sometime earlier upon learning of her husbands infidelity. The somewhat bittersweet reunion ended rather abruptly when Chilean authorities stepped in and placed Ms. Valenzuela under arrest, charging her with sleeping with a miner.
