Ambitious young laborer looking for daywork. Experienced in building block towers (destruction as well as construction) and inserting oddly shaped objects into appropriate sized openings. Will accept nanas and juicebars in lieu of money. Can be picked up and dropped off at Gymboree.

Falldown Family Father Feeling Fairly Foolish

I enjoy live theatre!  Broadway musicals are my favorite.  There, I've said it and I'm not nearly as embarrassed by that public pronouncement as I might have been say..... a dozen years ago.  Yesterday was shaping up to be quite an enjoyable day.  My wife and I had tickets to see the National Tour of the hit Broadway show "Motown" at the State Theatre in Cleveland's Playhouse Square.  As we are circling the block to find parking we pass the Hanna Theatre and see "Les Miserables" on their marquee.  OMG, this day just got even better.  Les Mis just happens to be our absolute favorite musical of all time. Could we actually do a double feature? We will get home later than expected but the dog has plenty of food and water.  The worst that could happen is we may have to clean up an "accident" left as a message not to neglect her for so long in the future.  OK, if we can get tickets, we're doing it! The 1930's...what an interesting time in world history. FDR's New Deal helps America claw it's way out of the great depression and into a "dustbowl". Ghandi begins his Civil Disobedience movement in defiance of British rule of India. Hitler and Mussolini rise to power and pursue their territorial expansions. Radio becomes the dominant media and ushers in the "Swing Era". The Hindenburg goes down in flames in New Jersey. James Braddock defeats Max Baer and Jesse Owens frustrates Hitler at the Berlin Olympics. For the first time in history the King of England steps down from the throne to marry a twice divorced American woman who may or may not be a German spy. Let's see....what can we make a movie about? Hmmm....I know! How about the story of a little known Royal with a speech impediment? Albert Frederick Arthur George, more formally known as His Highness Prince Albert of York or Bertie to his closest friends and family, ascended the throne up...
